Pitches at the end of the lab were heard by Ewan McIntosh, commissioning manager for 4iP and Tom Harvey, CEO of Northern Film and Media. Tom wrote about the event on the Digital Dockyard blog: "I came in at the end of these labs to hear some of the ideas. It was brilliantly refreshing to hear so many good ideas, all of them felt like they would make a great contribution to the online world. I am always hugely impressed with the way Frank and his team work, it creates a very open environment for sharing ideas."

One of the projects developed at the Lab was successful in winning a £100,000 investment from 4iP.
