CROSSOVER SWEDEN
Date: 24 January 2010 to 30 January 2010
Venue: Rågårdsviks Pensionat, Grundsund/Fiskebäckskil, Sweden
Crossover Sweden is looking for twenty experienced and established FILM, GAME, TV, ANIMA- TION, MOBILE or NEW MEDIA creators to take part in a five-day residential laboratory designed to develop innovative cross-platform projects. We also look for creators in dance, theatre and sound interested in cross-media.
Between the 24th and 28th January 2010 twenty talented and experienced audio-visual professionals will meet at a beautiful, all expenses paid retreat on the Swedish West Coast in Rågårdsvik, to explore the creative and commercial challenges of developing new content and services for digital delivery in a 360-commissioning world.
This media lab will be directed by the world-leading mentor Frank Boyd alongside other international experts and a number of commissioning editors that will be visiting throughout the week.
The finale will result in a pitch to a panel of experienced commissioners from different media sectors, to take place at the Göteborg International Film Festival on the 29th of January 2010.
Previous Crossovers labs have produced award-winning innovative cross-platform projects and following the success of last year's Crossover Nordic and previous labs in Australia, Ca- nada, and the UK and US, this will be the first lab focused specifically on Swedish participants. Places are very limited and competitive so apply now!
Crossover Sweden was presented by Crossover Labs and is proudly funded by Västra Götalands- regionen och Film i Väst.
Supporting partner is Göteborg International Film Festival.
