  5. Why do you want to participate in Crossover? What is it about being part of a cross platform lab that excites you?

  6. What special skills, sensibilities, qualities, and experience would you bring to the mix of the laboratory? Please give examples wherever possible.

  7. Tell us something about work you've already done that would make you a good candidate for Crossover. Please mention your own OR collaborative projects. If you work in both film/video and new media, feel free to discuss both fields.

  8. If you've received recognition for your work, please provide a few highlights (fellowships, grants, major events, awards, press coverage, "best of" etc.) It's not a disqualifier if you don't have a long list - we're looking for a mix of experienced and emerging talent.

  9. Tell us about a specific project you worked on of which you are especially proud and your role in it.

  10. If possible, please provide URLs for selected websites that contain work you've conceived, created and/or collaborated on. Please be sure to describe the specific role you played and explain what it is that we're looking at.

Digital Revolutions - Introductory Workshops

We will be running four workshops across the UK, to offer you guidance from some of the industry's leading names who will give tips and advice on how to get your idea across in your video and also how maximize its impact once its online...

3rd September - Edinburgh

The purpose of these mini-labs is 

-Provide potential competitors with information about the competition, its scope and how to enter

-Stimulate debate about the impact of digital technology on society, politics, the economy, education, culture

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films

Only fifty places are available at each workshop on a first come first served basis.
