After graduating from the Newport School of Art Media and Design Andre Ktori undertook his Masters Degree by proposal at the University of Westminster in Design and Media Arts. While in the post of research fellow at Westminster, he founded the Interactive music cooperative AudioRom.

AudioRom toured internationally promoting their award winning Enhanced Music CD, ShiftControl, performing and exhibiting interactive music installations and site-specific works such as SoundTrack (ISEA) Presence (Tate Britain) TriggerHappy (ICA London).

Before taking a career change in the field of interactive music, he was contracted as a composer/songwriter to Warner Brothers Music, London and Atlantic Records, New York. During this period Andre owned a recording company and acquired the Virgin Manor mobile, which he ran as an OB facility at events including Glastonbury.

Prior to his current position here at Newport, he acted as a consultant for The BBC and partnered in new media initiatives working with The AFI, Arts Council of Great Britain, BAFTA, British Council, Cannel 4, The DTI, European Commission, London Arts Board, Open TV, The Science museum and Sky.

Andre's research continues in the area of sound image relationship and is currently developing new material for a series of performances and exhibitions.

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films
