Emma Cheshire is Head of Industry Development at Screen Yorkshire, responsible for independent television producers and digital agencies. Emma joined Screen Yorkshire in May 2007 bring to the team expertise in interactive media and organisation development for creative SMEs. Previously she worked for the Arts Council, firstly in Yorkshire as Media Arts Officer and more recently with the Organisation Development Unit establishing a £24 million fund to support arts organisations to realise new business opportunities.

While with ACE she worked closely with The Culture Company to establish the early R&D investment programme Melt. She has worked as a curator for a number of independent galleries and collections in the UK and Australia. Emma is currently studying MSc in Organisation Development at Sheffield Hallam University.

-Stimulate debate about the impact of digital technology on society, politics, the economy, education, culture

-Inspire participants to generate ideas for subjects and topics to cover

-Give practical tips and advice on making, digitising and posting their films
